Vida, M.D. In IFPE since 1999 as Co-Chair (with Thomas Kirsch) of History Committee, Co- Chair of Conferences 2003 (with Harold Davis), 2005 (with Arturo Ortiz), 2006 (with Arturo Ortiz and Rachel Newcombe) and 2011 (with Douglas Maxwell), Member-at-Large of Board of Directors, and Past President; one of twelve founders of the Institute of Contemporary Psychoanalysis in Los Angeles, where she is a Training and Supervising Analyst and Faculty Member; past president, Southern California Psychiatric Society; Distinguished Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association; member, American Psychoanalytic Association, International Psychoanalytic Association and Sándor Ferenczi Society of Budapest; editor of “On the Arts,” American Journal of Psychoanalysis.
