The International Forum for Psychoanalytic Education
welcomes to membership anyone
with an interest in psychoanalysis, whether clinical,
academic, artistic, literary, scientific, or philosophical.
IFPE was founded in 1991 as the International Federation
for Psychoanalytic Education. In 2008, "Forum" replaced "Federation" to better reflect our core emphasis on open dialogue.
The annual interdisciplinary conference and our on-line journal Other/Wise, offer a psychoanalytic “open space”
where our ideas and experiences can
enliven us in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
